| Felt edging; We offer to re-edge felt as a service where required. We only fully replace and do not cap fascia boards as we prefer to eliminate problems with damaged wood so the drips have to be teased up. Depending on the age of the felt there is a chance it could crack as it gets brittle with age therefore requiring re-edging. |

Reverging; When replacing bargeboards on gables there is a small chance that the verges will need to be re-mortared with tiles replaced where broken and new cloaks fitted. This is required when the original verge mortar and cloaks are of bad enough quality for the verges to drop as the bargeboards are taken away. We try and save most verges from needing this service but in the rare instances we can't, we price per linear metre. However, from a cosmetic point of view this will enhance the overall look of the gable. |
